Wow. I really cannot believe I leave tomorrow morning. I feel like I just got here and I just now became accustomed to everything. I know how to get from my house from all possible bus stops. I know all of Juanchi´s friends and which ones to aviod. :) I just now feel absolutely comfortable with my family and I am completely myself around them. I am just now making friends here and learning how to stay awake until 6:00 in the morning. I don´t want to leave more now than ever, but I do miss all my friends and family back home A LOT. All i know is that I am sooo lucky to have this opportunity. I met so many amazing incredible people, and I have a second family now that I love love love LOVE. I now have a better idea about how many people there are on this ridiculously huge Earth, and I now know a lot more about people in general.
I´m guessing now is the time the exchange students are supposed to look back on the experience and realize how it has changed their life. Hmmm. Right now, I live here, and Argentina is my life, so I don´t really feel the change that much. I have learned many things though. One is that no matter where you are be yourself and everything will be SO much better. Last night I went to a diskoteca/bar fiesta through AFS and of course no one spoke English. Usually our little AFS group (Rachel, Stephanie, Scott, Shelby, Recine) talk to just a few people and to eachother, but I made a HUGE effort to talk to almost everyone in the whole place. I made so many friends and everyone was sooo sweet! I had soooo much fun and I was completely myself the whole time. I talked in Spanish a lot and thinked I learned some more spanish too. It really is important for me to be my complete self everywhere the whole time. Everyday I need to pretend its one of the last days in Argentina so have so much fun and need to never be afraid to make a fool of myself. :) I also learned that you get as much as you give. If I snuggled up with Juanchi and slept on his shouler in the car, the next day he was a lot sweeter and joked around with me more. If I held Jo´s hand with her all the time and sang with her at the top our lungs, she would ask to sleep in my room and we would have the time of our lives. That is the case in life in general. You get back as much as you give. Simple, reliable concept that I am now going to live my life by. :) I also realized how extremely LUCKY I am. I mean seriously! I got the chance to go to freaking ARGENTINA for a whole month! I got the chance to have a family, and finally have a little sister and a brother! I got the chance to experience a COMPLETELY different culture and be a part of it! I got the chance to create a new perspective of life and learn to love even more. I feel so blessed! I feel more educated, more loving, more willing to jump at opportunities. I really do believe that this has been the best month of my entire life.

HOLA! I uploaded pics of my family- CHECK THEM OUT! I love them :) Last weekend my family took a trip to a small town called Maria Susana about 2.5 hours away from Rosario. My dad´s mom and brother and god children and many distant relatives of mine live there. It was cute and nice but way too quiet for me :) My family and I bonded more though! I love my life here!
Every morning my mom comes into my room and says ¨"Buenos Dias Emi!" Y yo fall back to sleep a little but eventually roll out of bed and put on one of my limited outfits :) I stumble to the kitchen and waiting for me on the table is milk and crackers and a jar of DULCE DE LECHE! Dulce de Leche is my favorite thing in the whole wooooorld! I slather Dulce de Leche all over my cracker and stuff chocolate cereal into my mouth while watching TV and not understanding anything that it says :) I check the clock and then sprint to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready. At 9:35 I leave for the bus stop with my mom and wait for bus 136 or 137. I swipe my bus card and get ready for a tiring day at the nursing home. When I get there the other AFSers are waiting inside and we usually go straight to a back room and sew becheras para los abuelos. We then serve them lunch and clean, while sneaking tons and tons of bread from the big bag in the kitchen. :) After we serve the abuelos we all set our table and eat, feeling relieved to be able to talk in ingles. We talk and talk and talk about our families, plans for the next week, and we even have heated debates about politics. When Shelby and Scott start arguing, theres no way to stop them :) But we all love eachother so it doesn´t really matter. We also talk about how GORGEOUS eachother´s host brothers are :) One man usually comes out baacking like a chicken because he thinks he is one, and one woman constantly yells at the top of her lungs. It´s all still fun though. :) As soon as it is 4 we dash out and usually hang at Rachel´s house for a while because she lives really close to the nursing home. After we hang I leave for the bus and take it home. My mom is waiting for me at the stop when I get back and we walk home together. I meet Jo and Juanchi at the door and we chill the rest of the night. At about 10:30 we eat dinner. It is usally some delicious combination of different meats and I eat it all. :) At about 1 we usually get agroup together to go to a discotec. FUN FUN FUN but I´m usually sooo tired! We dance and party all night and it´s always so much fun with my AFSers :) Then Juanchi and I get home and pass out in our beds from exhaustion. :) GOTTA LOVE ARGENTINA! :)

Wow. I love everything about ARGENTINA! Especially when my family and I go walking through the city at night. The vibrant colors and streat lights everywhere, and everyone is hustling and bustling- i LOVE the city energy. I can´t believe I have to leave this place that I have fallen in love with!
So I have been CRAZY busy it seems as I look back on the last couple of days. Last weekend I spent the night at Rachels and then went to work, which was kind of boring and sad sad sad. I don´t enjoy work but it gives me something to do. Juan and Josefina have school and exams so today, for example, I did very little. I woke up about 1 and sat around until about 5 when we went to a big celebration/festival for Newell´s Old Boys, a soccer team that Juanchi LOVES. We all got ice cream after that, so that was fun. :) It was Scott, his 2 brothers, Stephanie, her little sister, and Juanchi and I. I love all the AFS people here and always have the best time hanging out with their host siblings and them. Wow my grammar has become way worse. :) At the celebration there were a bunch of people basically jumping around and singing spanish songs/chants about the team. Sounds boring but there was SO much excitements and energy everywhere. There were fireworks and cannons and flags. The passion is RIDICULOUS but i LOVE it. :)
Last night, Juanchi, Shelby, her 2 GORGEOUS brothers :), Rachel, her sister, and Stephanie and her little sister all went to a Reggae concert. Even though every single other person there was smoking and I could feel my lungs turning black :) it was so fun! The music was amazing and it didn´t get old. Juanchi is the cutest thing because he has the STRONGEST passion for music! He would just close his eyes and throw his hands in the air and rock back and forth. I loved it and took many pictures and videos. :) My camera has room for like one more picture jajaa.
Josefina and I had a sleepover the other night. She is seriously the sweetest cutest thing ever :) We stayed up and died laughing and sang to Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers. :) I love it! The food is really good here and I´m trying everything, even if it doesn´t look very good. I have fallen in love with dulce de leche and pan ( bread). :) Thats all I eat for lunch every day, and literally 12 pieces. :) jaja The meat is great too! I help mom cook dinner sometimes too. This weekend we are taking a family trip to visit my grandparents and many distant relatives. :) That should be fun.

Hola!!!! Oh my goodness I am IN LOVE WITH ARGENTINA!!! Everything about it! My family is PERFECT for me! My little sister is the cutest thing in the whole WORLD!! She always asks me what I´m doing and what I want to do and I want to take her home with me! jaja Mi hermano Juan is so sweet and understanding as well. Mi madre is really nice and funny and sweet and I love her. My dad isn´t home a lot because he is a lawyer and doesn´t get home until late, but he is so sweet and has a smile that is priceless. :) I love it here! We live in a condo- type apartment that is very modern and nice, 7th floor with a balcony :) We live in the middle of the city, so the view from all windows is SO gorgeous. Don´t worry, you know me, I took a million pictures already. :)
Every day all the Rosario AFS students work at a nursey home. This is my least favorite part of Argentina because every day all the elderly people are so sick and need so much atention. I feel like the nurses don´t provide all the attention needed and a lot of these people are mentally and physically ill. One time a woman came up to me, grabbed on and wouldn´t let go because she didn´t want to be left alone. She thought she was 35 but is 98 and she just realized her mother died. I leave the geriatrico very sad every day but home home to a sweet caring family that I love :)
My spanish has improved but still every time anyone talks to me they have to talk very very slowly for me to understand. I am catching on little by little though :) I LOVE it here though and want to stay longer! The other AFS people and I are growing very close and RACHEL is mi amor- i love her so much! We always have so much fun together! I love love love everything about this place. A few nights ago I went to a party. Which was fun but a lot of people there were craaazyy. I had Rachel though so it was FUN! Many guys asked for a kiss, which is apparently very common here. Don´t worry, nobody got one :) So yeah that was fun! And before
Well talk to ya´ll later I love YOU
